The publication of the series “Contributions to Regional and Migration Research” has two primary aims: Firstly, to present research which focuses on the “region” as a geographical unit and examines regional processes of development in their complexity, especially their impact on the conditions of mobility. Secondly, the series presents research relating to migration i.e. the motifs, conditions, and consequences of migration processes. Both fields of research are interrelated and are used to analyze the relevance of migration processes for regional development. In the series, innovative research findings from different fields of regional and migration research are published.
