Mobility ideas and mobility experiences are part of our individual and collective mentalities. These are imprinted by society and have an influence upon the individual's thinking, decisional and action structures. They, therefore, play a decisive role in the judgment of one's own life outlines and prospects and the judgment of others. In a specific way they exert an effect upon assessment and evaluation, establishing a connection with migration, which is, as a social fact, an integral component of societies. In this anthology the broad connections among regional development, identity and migratory movements are examined from the point of different prospectives and relationships. Among the themes considered are: community attachment, migratory work, mobility within municipalities, the living circumstances of immigrants in Turkey, Luxembourg, and Germany, the situation in Croatia, European educational policies, and the regional effects of European deregulation policies.
