Thomas Geisen, Ph.D., born in 1968, works as senior researcher and lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (School of Social Work) and at the Institute for Regional and Migration Research (IRM). He studied Social Work, Sociology, and Political Sciences in Saarbrücken, Trier, and London, and completed his doctorate at the University of Basel. Geisen has worked previously as a social worker and journalist, and most recently as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Zurich. His main areas of interest are: labour/work, migration and violence.

Studium der Pädagogik, Sozialpädagogik, Soziologie und Politikwissenschaften 1999-2007 an der Universität Zürich. Lizenziatsarbeit zu „Bildung und Begabung. Eine theoretische Auseinandersetzung zu einem vernachlässigten Zusammenhang“. Berufliche Tätigkeiten als Jugendarbeiter, Sozialpädagoge und Fachlehrer an der Volksschule. Lehrveranstaltungen an der Universität Zürich und an der Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz in Olten.
Lisa Weiller [contact] Lisa Weiller, lic. phil., geboren 1979, schloss 2008 ihr Studium der Pädagogik/Sozialpädagogik, Ethnologie und Sozial- und Präventivmedizin in Zürich mit einer Lizentiatsarbeit zum Thema „Sans-Papiers-Kinder. Eine explorative Studie zur Lebenssituation von Kindern, die ohne Aufenthaltsbewilligung in der Schweiz leben“ ab. Sie war beruflich tätig als Soziokulturelle Animatorin und Sozialpädagogin im Kinder-, Jugend- und Behindertenbereich. Derzeit ist sie als Koordinatorin der nationalen Kampagne für die Rechte von Sans-Papiers-Kindern in der Schweiz tätig.
